We are a Miami-based angel investor network. AGP stands for Accelerated Growth Partners. That's what we do with each entrepreneur; we partner up to accelerate growth.

We hold pitch meetings every four to six weeks where startups who have been through our Selection Process present to AGP Members. Each individual Member decides whether to invest or not. Hence, AGP is not a fund but rather an investment club of like-minded accredited investors who are passionate about disruptive startups. Due to legal limitations, these meetings are for Members-only.

As a group, our average investment is U$150,000; ranging from U$50,000 to U$500,000. Our goal is to close in under 40 days from the pitch meeting.

AGP also hosts public events focused on angel investing education.

The Florida Angel Nexus (“FAN”) powers angel investment groups statewide. We solve challenges common for these groups: deal flow, due diligence, portfolio management, and need for broader context. We enable investors to invest in small groups of their own choosing and meet highly specialized goals while enjoying the efficiency of a large investment entity. Prospective companies undergo a rigorous vetting process. Leveraging our extensive network of industry experts, FAN coordinates investigations to better understand the market, product, and execution risk of investment opportunities. Selected companies gain exposure to a large number of investors from angel groups across the state who coinvest to meet the company’s fundraising goals; the angel groups gain far more insights than they can generate on their own. It’s a win-win situation.

Florida Funders, LLC, is an investment portal that connects accredited investors with startups seeking funding. Accredited investors who register on the local portal can access information on companies seeking investment.  If there is enough interest from investors to meet the company’s funding requirements, Florida Funders facilitates the investment by creating a special purpose vehicle (SPV) specifically for the company seeking the investment.  The SPV then becomes the sole investor in the company while the individual investors are members of the SPV.
